In a follow-up in the same thread, @bot wrote that accounts connect through Plaid, access is read-only, Grok Bot never sees logins, and accounts can be unlinked at any time. It directed users to search for “Finance” in the marketplace and linked https://x.ai/bot.
Elon Musk quoted the announcement the same day: “Grok @Bot can manage your finances.”
